About Miami Glow Tanning
Miami Glow Tanning has been serving Brantford since 2020 as a premium tanning and wellness salon. The salon runs 7 beds covering UV tanning, red light therapy, spray tan, body contouring, and relaxation treatments. Some of the equipment is completely exclusive to the Brantford and Norfolk County area. The community has recognized what the owner has built. Gold in the Brantford Community Votes in 2021, then Platinum every single year from 2022 through 2025. Four consecutive Platinum awards that speak to the quality and consistency of the experience. By the time TURVUA got involved, Miami Glow had a strong local reputation and a loyal customer base. The website just wasn’t keeping up with the business.
THE SITUATION
The website did not reflect the salon at all. The design felt outdated and put together without much thought, nothing close to the premium experience customers get when they actually walk in. Pricing was displayed in images that were hard to read. There was a horizontal scrolling problem on mobile that would appear when zooming or swiping. And during our initial review we found something the owner had no idea about, a gambling ad had been injected into the site and was showing up clearly at the bottom of the homepage, visible to every visitor that came through. In the week before we launched the new site, the old one had disappeared from Google organic results entirely. Only the Facebook page was showing in its place.

Building Something That Matches the Brand
The goal from the owner was clear. Premium and luxury. The salon had spent years building that identity in person and the website needed to match it. Every design decision was made with that in mind. Deep charcoal backgrounds, white text, gold accents throughout. Typography that feels refined. Nothing was chosen by default.
The awards the salon had earned over five years were built into the design properly. A dedicated section on the homepage and the about page, with real badge images from the award organizations. They were earned over four consecutive years and the site needed to show that in a way that actually meant something to someone landing on the page for the first time.
Custom WordPress Redesign

The old site was scrapped entirely and rebuilt from scratch on WordPress. Every section was designed around the premium identity the salon had spent years building. The homepage covers everything a visitor needs to know. Services, pricing, brand recognition, reviews, and a clear path to get in touch without sending people hunting across multiple pages. The navigation is clean and direct. Pricing links straight to the pricing section. Gallery, about, and contact each have their own dedicated pages.
Showcasing What Makes Miami Glow Different
The services section was one of the most important parts of the build. Each bed and wellness treatment got its own card in a modern slider layout with real photos of the actual equipment. Exclusive beds were labeled directly on the card. “Only at Miami Glow” and “Only Bed in Brantford and Norfolk County.” That detail matters because it is true and it gives someone a real reason to choose Miami Glow over any other salon nearby. Pricing was completely rebuilt with a custom HTML and CSS layout covering single sessions, minute packs, memberships, packages, and spray tan options all organized clearly in one place. The old site had pricing buried in images that were hard to read on any screen. The new layout fixes that entirely. The awards the salon earned over four consecutive years were given proper placement across the homepage and the about page with real badge images from the award organizations rather than a passing mention.
